Splinter Cell was the poster child game for the Xbox One (No, not that one). I enjoyed
it greatly, even buying it in a CARDBOARD BOX and reading the manual while waiting to
get home. I recall to this day how he has a strange and dark sense of humour, which
probably explains why he wears this. While hiding in the shadows. Yeah. I was pleased
to be in the manly shoes of a manly man - uh okay, high-heeled shoes of a strange man who
could rival Lara's athletics and *** appeal. Possibly.
Loading it up over a decade after its release, I was pleasantly surprised. It looks kind
of like modern day phone games do and was easy to get into widescreen resolution. Sam
Fisher moved about with grace I was not expecting from an old game and an old man and the controls
were easy to pick up and natural. Using the scroll mouse to alter his speed was a stroke
of genius. If only all key binding screens were this easy.
Fisher easily blitzed past the first assault course, and definitely didn't climb the wrong
way up a ladder. He began to remember all of the small touches that had stuck inside
his mind for over a decade: The emphasis on pretty lighting. The patronising voice of
praise. The CIA agents who volunteered to be bludgeoned. It wasn't long before they
decided that he wasn't an old fart and sent the retired strange person on their most important
mission EVER. In the next video of Splinter Cell, played
