What makes members the most active on the website, I realize that they pretty much all
mainly want to be part of, feel like they are part of the G-Unit movement, of the G-Unit
whatever is going on at the time.
They want to get some shine too. They're just happy to know that 50 Cent is aware of them,
because, you know, he's on the website, he checks profiles, you know he reads comments.
So, the more you leave comments, the more he's going to see your name, your profile
pictures, and know who you are. He'll start to get to know you, so now he gives shout
outs like on Twitter the other day he went on Twitter, shouting out some of the members,
like some of the valuable members who have been there for years, and he's been saying
their names so many times that now he knows them. It's the way he speaks, you know. But,
he's aware of them.
Most of the other things of the community is the fact that members want to get some
shine - everybody wants to be a celebrity, somehow so they're going to blog, they're
going to end up being featured on the Main page, because the way ThisIs50 works, it's
all like user generated content.
So, tomorrow you can just sign up for ThisIs50 and end up being a key member by blogging,
and posting news, and updating the site - helping to update the site.
Umm, you know I like to say ThisIs50 has 500,000 employees. So, tomorrow you can be one of
them, and you can get shine, and somehow get your own stuff promoted and get some energy
going with your own stuff. And a few members understood that and used it the right way.
After a while I reached out to them, and I helped them develop it even more. I just let
them prove themselves, make sure they understood what's going on, and then I reached out. And
we develop a relationship from there.
