Hi, my name is Mike Quebec and today's subject is spinning. How to burn calories spinning.
Well, spinning is indoor bicycling. So a lot of the rules that apply for an exercise routine
for bike riding apply for spinning as well. Nice easy pace for the first five minutes,
and then to work your cardiovascular endurance especially for short bursts, five minutes
of a faster pace. Or much faster pace. And then of course, slowing it down after that
five minutes, nice and moderate. Oh you'll want to do that moderate then fast, moderate,
fast total time about thirty minutes, more or less. Thirty minutes, you can go a little
bit more, you can go a little bit less, you can go a lot more. But remember if you want
to keep track of the calories burned or calories expended it's a good idea to get an exercise
calorie chart, calorie burn chart and you want to look that up according to your weight.
So for a hundred and fifty pound person, this more or less about the equal of running about
thirty minutes for somebody who is about a hundred and fifty pounds, will burn about
three hundred calories more or less for a thirty minute workout. And that is one way
you can keep track and burn calories while doing spinning.
