So, now on my teapots I like to have a tea catcher. So, I use a hole cutting tool which
is a pipe cut on a slant so that it's got a really sharp edge. But, it makes a perfectly
circular hole. And, then throughout this entire area, I'm going to cut holes and this is going
to serve as somewhat of a strainer. Now, it won't catch really fine loose leaf tea. But,
it will catch a teabag and it also will catch really large leaf teas. Now, these holes are
going to shrink as this clay shrinks. So, they are going to be smaller than this. And,
then in addition to the shrinkage, the glaze is going to add a little thickness. So, these
holes are going to end up significantly smaller than they look right now. And, I'm just going
to keep going all the way around this until I have holes all the way across this surface.
Leaving a little bit around the edge for the place to connect the spout to the teapot.
