Like the guys just said, my name is Stelios Zarras, I am a member of Google's marketing team.
We are very happy and proud to present you today with the first two stories we have found in Greece, from agencies that
worked closely with their customers and achieved some very nice results.

The German Language Centre was founded in 1980 in Athens by four German teachers, which planned to teach
proper German to young people that wanted to go abroad to German-speaking countries for studies
or use the skill on their résumé.
In the previous years, we used to advertise by the typical method of handing out leaflets outside the universities.
The cost of this operation was disproportional to the income. The internet was at that point the new medium for us to advertise.
That's how we decided to choose Google AdWords as the new medium of advertising for the Language School.
During our research about the company we would cooperate with, to start building a website,
we gathered many opinions, most of which pointed towards the company Diadima, who we contacted for the creation
of the website mygerman.gr.
In the summer of 2011, the school's general manager, Dimitris Gritzalis, came to us with the question how we could
help him increase his enrolments. We instantly proposed Google AdWords. The results were immediate.
After advertising on both the Search and Display networks, the visits of the website were quintupled (5x), while the ROI
has overcome 600% today.
The results of this effort were impressive. We have now doubled our enrolments while, at the same time, reducing
our advertising cost by 80%. The challenge right now is to house all these students, which is why we are searching for
a new, larger establishment, as well as to hire new staff.
When we took part in one of Google's events, as members of Google Engage, we met colleagues from abroad.
Meeting them, not only gave us the idea to go into internet marketing and especially Google AdWords, but it also
changed our entire business plan. As members of Google Engage, we had access to educational material, which
gave us the ability to make the company Diadima one of the first Certified Partners for Google AdWords.
Google Engage keeps us up to date with the developments, not only on Google AdWords, but the rest of Google's marketing tools as well.
That has helped us develop a high level know-how, which allows us to carry out monthly seminars for advertised businesses and marketeers, on Google AdWords and Google Analytics.
Google AdWords has not only helped us survive amidst the crises but furthermore to expand.
Through our associate, Diadima, all of our budget is now spent on Google AdWords.
After all, we want to bet on the winning horse!
