So, It's time to break it down for Almond eyes. I've got a set right here. We've created
these custom looks for each shape to show you how to get the most out of your gorgeous
eyes with our new amazing Full Exposure Palette. There's a look for day, one for night and
a defined look for each shape. So tonight I'm going to show you how to create a night
look which is really the most dramatic of all three looks.
Almond Eyes are always fun to work with because of how perfectly symmetrical they are. You
can really try so many different looks because your shape is super versatile.
To play them up even more the trick is to add depth and intensity. I've already prepped
my model with 24 hour photo finish shadow primer. This is the latest new lid primer
and it's amazing. Be sure to keep an eye out for it, it really
does lock on color for a full 24 hours. First sweep a light shade across the entire lid
from lashline to browbone. Really you can use any shade for this look but this particular
look I'm using M3. Applying a light shade like M3 over your lid
is the first step to giving your eyes even more depth. Since it highlights the natural
contours of your almond shaped eyes. Then, to contour and define apply a medium
shade in a sideways V shape along the upper lashline and crease. I'm using M6.The sideways
V shape might sound weird but trust me it really elongates almond shaped eyes and enhances
their perfect symmetry. Finally, excentuate the outer corner of the
eye with a dark shimmer shade like S7. This is how to really add dramatic defintion to
an almond eye. By applying just to the outer corner your eyes actually pop even more since
the darker color and shimmer creates more depth.
Finish the eyes with two coats of full exposure mascara. Don't forget to give a little love
to those outer lashes. This will really open up your shape for a perfect wide-eyed look.
Finish the look with a bit of Halo Long Wear blush in Warm Glow and a swipe of Be Legendary
lipstick in Primrose. This look is all about enhancing the eye shape
so you really want to keep your lips and your cheeks more neutral. So, you've got this gorgeous
look that you can really wear anywhere so to make the eyes even more of the focus I'm
going to show you a cool, very easy trick to make your eyes look wider and brighter.
I'm going to use our bare Always Sharp. I love to apply a nude shade to the inner rim
because that always makes your eyes look wider and brighter. It really helps. It's like an
old artistry trick if you've had like a late night or early morning to really just refresh
the eyes. So, If you found this video hopefully by now
you should know what your eye shape is and why it's so important to apply makeup based
on your shape. But, if you haven't yet make sure to check out our super informative eye
