Hi, my name's Ari and I work for *** Media. Today I'm going to show you how to set up
your BlackBerry App World account.
First of all we need to open up the main menu.
We're now looking for the App World icon.
It'll take a couple of seconds just to load up.
Next you'll see a list of icons in front of you, about in the middle of the page.
We're looking for the fourth one along called 'My World', give that a press,
you'll then be prompted to enter your BlackBerry ID username and your password.
Now we don't have one yet so scroll down to 'create new'.
Next will be a list of terms and conditions, read those through and
scroll down to where it says 'I Agree'.
Now we've agreed to the terms and conditions. Literally you just need to fill in
the boxes as it comes up on the screen. First one is 'first name',
followed by your last name,
Next one's a screen name, now this will appear to other BlackBerry users,
and it must be unique to you.
Next is the username.
This is an email address, it could be anything, it could be 'hotmail', 'gmail'
a *** Media account,
just pop it in there.
Next is the password, now what I like to do is scroll down
to where it says 'show password'
put a tick in the box and go back up to where it says 'password'
this way you can ensure that you're spelling the password correctly,
and if its case sensitive then you're getting the capital letters in the right place.
Scroll down to confirm password and literally write exactly what you've put
in the box above.
The next option, 'password recovery question' is very important. In case you forget your password
you can be prompted by an easily memorable question, such as
mother's maiden name, your favorite colour, favourite pet, your name, anything you like.
Next scroll down to the box below and enter the answer to that question.
Next is a tick box, you'll be asked if you'd like to receive
priority information from BalckBerry, you can opt in or opt out accordingly there.
Right at the bottom, click submit.
Now you're registered for a BlackBerry world account, you can download apps, such as
weather apps, games apps, things like that.
You're good to go.
