More zombies invade your TV, Sesame Street's surprise *** attack (what?!) and speaking
of sexy, Britney Spears drops her scandalous Criminal video. I'm Alex and I've got your
entertainment scoop in today's Reel TV News. 2009's sleeper hit Zombieland, starring Emma
Stone and Jesse Eisenberg, is being adapted into a TV series for FOX, according to New
York Magazine. Film writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are on-board and Sony Pictures
Television is already at work putting the zombie comedy into development for the 2012-2013
season. Can it hold its own against AMC's The Walking Dead?
Good news, kids and parents! Sesame Street's YouTube Channel is back in action after a
weekend hacker had invaded the family-friendly page and swapped the Muppets for explicit
pornographic videos. The YouTube Channel was swiftly shut down within 20 minutes of the
*** attack and was finally restored yesterday with a public apology, assuring fans that
their favorite googly-eyed friends are back and that fans can also watch videos in a more
child-friendly environment on the show's website. Britney Spears debuted her much-anticipated
new video for "Criminal" this morning and viewers are getting quite an eye-ful! The
video, shot in London last month, co-stars her real-life boyfriend Jason Trawick in a
Bonnie-and-Clyde style storyline, complete with shameless perfume plugs and lots and
lots of steamy sex scenes. Apparently Britney's Clyde doesn't suffer the same manly "function"
problem as Warren Beatty's version! But the sexy time doesn't come for free - for now,
you'll have to buy it on iTunes for $2 in order to watch. Be sure to check back tomorrow
for more of the latest celebrity buzz from SideReel.
