Hi everyone, how's your day doing?
So in my previous video, I've shared with you 3 things about myself, so that you'll
get to know me better.
Please do a brief intro about yourself as well so that I'll get to know you better,
as one of my main goals this year is to forge friendships with all of you guys in my team.
So in this video, I'm gonna share with you 2 of my favourite oils from Young living's
premium starter kit.
So in case you are wondering what does a PSK look like?
It looks like this.
So this kit contains 10 different oils with a diffuser, and this is what I call my first
aid kit because in times of emergency, the oils within this kit will be very handy.
Alright, so now guess, which one is my favourite essential oil?
So I like all the oils, but the oil that brought me to YL is none other than lavender.
So I used to have a very shallow sleep quality and I am extremely sensitive to noises.
This is problematic for me because I have a roommate who has a mild tendency to snore
when he's tired.
He is tired all the time, and I'm tired all the time!
And this is problematic for me because I can't sleep well when he's snoring.
After knowing essential oils, and after knowing lavender, I tried to use them by diffusing
it with a diffuser and add a few drops onto my pillow before I sleep.
I realised that I managed to sleep well and better, to the extent that I can't hear my
friend's snoring anymore.
So perhaps, lavender not only helps me to sleep well, it also helps my friend to sleep
better.
Besides calming your mind, lavender is also a very versatile oil that it can help you
soothe your skin issues, and also help to promote hair growth, simply by applying a
few drops of oils onto your hand, and then, just massage your scalp.
My second most favourite oil that I always bring out with me is none other than peppermint!
Yup, as you all know from my previous video, I am a vegetarian foodie and the major problem
being a foodie is that you always fall asleep especially after a heavy meal during lunch
hours.
This is especially problematic for me because I just couldn't focus on work anymore when
food coma hits me to the extent that I've to walk around the office just to get rid
of that food coma.
So after knowing about peppermint, it really helps me because peppermint has this refreshing,
minty aroma that wakes you up instantly whenever you feel tired.
So let me demo it to you, how I use it, whenever I feel tired.
I just simply apply a few drops onto my hand, yup like this, massage it, and rub it over
my neck area, relieving those stiff muscles, and then here comes the most important part
- with the oils still on your hands, make a cup shape, and then take a deep breath but
slowly....
Sometimes when I feel lazy, I will just peppermint under my nose like that.
Besides serving as a wake up boost, peppermint also has many other functions as well.
First, it helps to relieves headaches, second, it helps to relieve stomach discomfort after
having a heavy meal.
Alright, so now I've shared with you 2 of my favourite oils from Young Living's premium
starter kit, which are lavender and peppermint respectively.
They are at both ends of the spectrum, with peppermint that is good at boosting your energy
when you are feeling tired; and Lavender, which helps in relaxing your mind.
So let me know what're your favourite oils from YL's PSK, and also share with me how
you use both peppermint and lavender in your daily living.
In my next 3 video series, I'm gonna introduce to you all the other members of Young Living's
premium starter kit oils and by then, I hope you understand I call this my emergency first
aid wellness kit.
Stay tuned and see you!
