What is beer?
Let us drink, dearest friend to my poor wasted youth.
Let us drink from grief - Where's the glass?
Our hearts at least will be lightened.
(Fragment of the poem "Winter Evening" by Pushkin)
This is the true meaning of beer.
The Vedas easily explains what beer is by comparing it to an ostrich.
When the ostrich runs in the wild and sees a tiger, which has a faster speed
of running, the ostrich knows that
it is helpless for it to run away.
It thinks "How can I escape?",
It then hides its head in the sand. However, the big yummy bum is still uncovered
and will be bitten by the tiger.
The problem with drinking beer is that we're similarly hiding our head.
Why do we drink it?
To calm ourselves and to feel good.
It is like playing the fiddle while Rome is burning.
If you feel troubles inside, you have to pray; but if everything is OK
why do we need to drink beer?
What for?
