It was a good experience. I made a lot of friends, a lot of these people right here.
All my colleagues are some of the best people I've ever met.
They're good peoples, I had a good time.
Kent State is a great school. You can definitely get involved here. I think that's one of the
biggest things that made it and the people are very inviting and welcoming
so it was awesome. It was a great time.
I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I come Freshman year not knowing anything
and this August with all the classes I've taken, all of the professors I've interacted,
the friends that I've made, I will be entering Med School
and I feel more prepared than I ever could have been.
Uh, it was amazing.
I met a lot of people, had a lot of fun. Um, I did the whole acting thing.
I made a few different movies, uh, hopefully get my name out there.
But overall, I had a blast. I wouldn't take it back for anything.
I really liked Kent State. Um, I learned a lot, I met a lot of people.
I got a great job, so I loved it.
College is definitely a really unique experience that you can't replicate anywhere else so
you need to definitely make the jump and go to college.
Yeah, and when you go to college there's a whole broad spectrum of different things you
can explore. You'll make some of the most lasting friendships, definitely for me more so
than any of my high school friends. I have way better friendships through college.
You know, there's a lot of struggles in college but those downs are worth it for that one
moment when you walk on stage. It's definitely worth it. Do it. Of course.
Yeah, it has really challenged me a lot. There was, like, sometimes, I don't really know
how to study but, like, some of the classes that I took, they like really really taught
me how to, like, study and stuff, so, like, yeah, it has really been a blessing to me.
Kent's great. You meet a ton of people. It's still close to home for a lot of people so
you still get to go home, you still get to be here so it's a great balance.
Make friends with everybody that's in your major. You're gonna see those people every
single day. You need to become best friends with them all.
If not, be casual. Be cool.
If you can, I would live on campus because it's way easier to meet friends and meet new
people by living on campus than living at home and commuting here.
Yeah, I would just tell them, like, to just get their books. They should stay focused
and study hard. They shouldn't wait until last minute to procrastinate so they should
really really study hard and you're gonna do very very good at things then.
I would say just be open, you know, um, and explore as many different colleges as you can.
Kent's a great school because it has so many programs and it's ok if
you don't know exactly what you want to do but still coming to college is a really good decision.
I mean, I couldn't have asked for better professors, a better community that supports students.
It's an overall great experience. I'm really glad to be an alumni right now
alumnus, excuse me.
My, uh, at Kent State my major definitely prepared me. We had some awesome mentors,
professors... They prepared us... -We got real life experince
Yeah, we got real life experience, like, they prepared us really well.
I loved my major. I love the faculty within my major and it was awesome and I'm just ready
to get into the field now, so I'm excited.
