Hi, this is John on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I'll be talking about preparing
the Brad Nailer. First we need to put on our eye protection and ear protection. After that
we need to remove any fasteners our tool. Next we need to test the operation of our
contact tip, when you press it down it should easily move and it shouldn't stick at all.
After that you want to make sure that your air pressure is within the correct range,
our range was 70 to 120 and I have it set to about 95. When you're handling your Brad
Nailer make sure you always keep it pointed away from you, never pointed directly at you.
Lastly we're going to attach our air hose to our tool, to do that you pull back on the
collar, you slip it on to the fitting, make sure it's on there good and then you move
the collar back forward. Then you can test it to make sure it's securely on there.
