I got a great email from Amanda he says would you ever seriously consider moving
to Canada
we would be very lucky to have you intelligent dudes here
so I don't I don't I'm let's I guess I have to take the question two parts
is can if I were to move to another country
is Canada won that I would be a happy to move to you
yes I think my preference would be to live in
a Montreal if I were to move to Canada I don't know all of Canada but my
assumption is I wouldn't be
that into going to the the far north
of Canada and being in relatively remote areas I I think something like
eighty percent of Canada's population is within 100 miles of the US border
so certainly I would probably restrict where I would want to beat it though
those 100 miles and even more specifically I think I'd like to be in
Montreal
are maybe Toronto that that's kinda my thought but
I i would certainly consider moving to Canada now and I actively looking for
another country to move to right now
know if the question is what would it take in the US for me to want to move to
another country
I don't know exactly but I know I'm not there right now yeah
I would say I would say no I
I want to get a great care is great i like Canada by Tom
I think I can think of a few other countries I'd rather move to you
is that a weather thing partially the harsh Arabia the winters are very cold
arm
but to Canada does have a lot agree cities and I i've always enjoyed Canada
every time I've been there
right net on your thoughts on Canada moving to Canada I would consider it and
then have actually
actually looked up the whole immigration situation which is based on a point
system that they have
and actually put all my info and into the calculator on unlike the immigration
website
and I didn't pass but not not by much I found that if I were able to become
fluent in French
I would pretty much be just barely passing
but now does passing guarantee that you get accepted only I could
I should specify what I'm talking about I'm only talking about you know
one wave immigrating which is not having a family member they are not having a
job lined up not having studied in Canada where you're then allowed to save
years if you get a job
in I I'm just talking about straight up you have no connection use wanna go on a
point system in and just see what you get
gotcha yeah you want to add something so you need like a triple-double
yen be a you need basically they ask you a bunch questions like
what degree do you have arm you know fluency in English and French obviously
and a bunch of other things and what job what what profession you work in
and then they can they add up points and if you get past like forget what it is
like 67 points out of 100 or something
then you're at least eligible to ask for now
it does the French thing matter if you're not moving to go back are
that's an interesting question from what I found it helps no matter where you go
%uh ed adds to the point so I guess if you know French and you're going to
Toronto it helps for the general Canadian immigration interesting
very very interesting alright all right there it is keep the audience questions
