>> Johntavis: What's up guys?
>> Ashely: Hey y'all, what's up?
>> Johntavis: I'm Johntavis.
>> Ashley: And I'm Ashley.
>> Johntavis: And we're Georgia 4-H counselors.
>> Ashley: And today we're here to tell you
about Rock Eagle 4-H Center.
>> Johntavis: Rock Eagle 4-H Center!
>> Ashley: Yeah, that's, that's what I said.
>> Johntavis: Rock Eagle 4-H Center!
>> Ashley: Are, are you going to keep doing that?
>> Johntavis: Rock Eagle 4-H Center!
>> Ashley: Y'all, I can't take him anywhere.
>> Johntavis: Basically, what's she's trying to say,
you're about to have the best week of your life.
>> Ashley: Rock Eagle 4-H Center!
>> Johntavis: So when you get to camp,
you're divided into 3 tribes.
>> Ashley: That's right, you've got Shawnee,
Cherokee, and Muskogee.
Okay guys, so your days at Rock Eagle are filled
with all kinds of fun stuff.
>> Johntavis: You might get to sail a sailboat.
How about the zip line?
>> Ashley: Oh yeah, and if you want to feel
like you're flying, you should definitely do the slingshot.
>> Johntavis: And since it is the Rock Eagle 4-H Center...
>> Ashley: Does that mean you actually get
to see the Rock Eagle Mound?
>> Johntavis: Yes, you get to see the mound!
>> Ashley: Oh my gosh!
>> Johntavis: There's archery.
And everyone gets to go canoeing.
>> Ashley: You get to learn a thing or 2 about conservation.
>> Johntavis:And the forest and the trees.
>> Ashley: So our older, more experienced campers get
to go climb high in the trees for our awesome rope courses.
>> Johntavis: So if you don't get to do it this year,
come on back next year then.
>> Ashley: Oh yeah!
>> Johntavis: And it's summertime,
so you have to go swimming.
Rock Eagle has not only 1, but 2 swimming pools.
>> Ashley: Um, and I heard that one
of them even has a waterslide.
>> Johntavis: Yes, a waterslide!
>> Ashley: And then there's the wet games, when you get
to compete against all the other tribes
in the silliest, the craziest...
>> Johntavis: ...and the messiest,
>> Ashley: yeah it is the messiest,
most fun games you'll play all summer.
Whew! So that is a lot.
So, is that it?
>> Johntavis: Not by far; don't forget
about the Indian lore where you can learn a little bit
about how Native Americans really lived.
So what about the night time?
>> Ashley: Oh yeah, that is
when the party really starts at Rock Eagle.
>> Johntavis: True.
Get ready to scream and shout your heads off
as the counselors perform the variety show.
>> Ashley: Oh yeah, we'll sing, we'll dance,
do backflips, pretty much just about anything
to make sure you guys have an awesome time.
Okay, so let's see a backflip, right now.
>> Jontavis: I don't think that's safe.
Not right, no, no, not right now.
Okay, so tell them about Thursday night.
>> Ashley: What about Thursday night?
>> Johntavis: You know, the pageant!
>> Ashley: Oh, you mean when I get to wear my tiara
and my sash and I get to wear my high heels?
>> Johntavis: Uh, trust me.
I've seen you in your Chukkas
and you barely can walk in those.
But no, I'm talking about the Rock Eagle Pageant.
>> Ashley: Oh, that one.
>> Johntavis; That's when all 3 tribes gather on the side
of the big hill and we sing songs, we cheer
and we compete in tribal games.
>> Ashley: There's a romance, the most beautiful maidens,
>> Johntavis: and there's giant birds,
and a fighting scene.
>> Ashley: It's a wonderful story.
>> Johntavis: It is.
But, um, can we stop being so calm now?
>> Ashley: Please.
>> Johntavis: And on Friday morning,
we answer the week's biggest question?
Ashley and Johntavis: Who's going to win that tribal shield?
[Cheering].
>> Ashley: And then the hardest part of the week
for us counselors is saying goodbye.
[ Music ]
>> Johntavis: I think I feel the tears coming.
We thought we, we just love you guys.
>> Ashley: We do.
>> Johntavis: And we miss you.
>> Ashley: Come back!
>> Johntavis: Please!
>> Ashley: So, in case you can't tell,
4-H camp is all about having fun.
>> Johntavis: Rock Eagle 4-H Center!
>> Ashley: You guys get to meet new people.
>> Johntavis: Rock Eagle 4-H Center!
>> Ashley: And you get to try new things.
>> Johntavis: Rock Eagle 4-H Center!
>> Ashley: And you might even learn a thing or 2.
>> Johntavis: At Rock Eagle 4-H Center!
>> Ashley: But the most important thing is we make
sure you guys have a blast.
>> Johntavis: At Rock Eagle 4-H Center!
>> Ashley: Are you going to say anything else
because we only have, like, 2 more seconds.
>> Johntavis: Of course!
And we'll see you...
>> Ashley and Johntavis:At Rock Eagle 4-H Center!
