Dave Lee: Alright everybody we got a lot to talk about and not a whole lot of time.
There's a couple big deliverables coming up that we really need to get focused on
so I need to check in, and where we are standing with D.C. signage?
Janelle Wienke: Well, we got a lot of ideas but none of them are really hashed out yet,
so, we're really looking for a consistent theme.
Dave Lee: OK, (sigh) Ideas?
Do you have any ideas?
Yosef: (Silence)
Dave Lee: When the Appalachian State higher ups said they wanted to have Yosef on the team,
we weren't quite sure what to make of it.
He has certain limitations that we have to deal with.
We thought about putting him on the communications team to find a good spot for him to fit in,
but he doesn't really talk that much. In fact he doesn't talk much at all.
Yosef: (Silence)
(Sound: elastic strap snap)
Dave Lee: One of the things we do on the communication team is decide how we are going to promote the Solar Homestead
once we're set up on the National Mall. We were collecting ideas from the entire team and Yosef had some ideas that were unique.
Dave Lee: So I uh heard you had some ideas for the communications team.
Yosef: (Silence)
Dave Lee: OK, you want to tell me.
Dave Lee: Uh, show me.
Dave Lee: OK.
Dave Lee: Alright what's this?
Dave Lee: This is you, dancing on top of the Solar Homestead.
Dave Lee: Alright, it might need some revising.
Chelsea Royall: The communications team really couldn't find a spot for him.
I was hoping we could get him on the design team, but I don't know
there seems to be some sort of - physical issues.
It's just not really working out.

Student: Wohhh! Take it easy, Yosef.
Dave Lee: Yosef flunking out of the design and communications team was a bit frustrating for all of us.
We were trying our best to figure out how we could utilize him and thought the construction team would be a good stop.
He looks like a construction guy so we figured why not.
(Laughing)
Travis McKensie: Yea, Yosef's been a little slow picking up on things we're trying to do back here.
The guy is built like an ox but his hand-eye coordination is a bit lacking.
Dave Lee: If anything he has a great work ethic.
He's always here. In fact, he doesn't really go home at night.
We don't know if he has a home at all.
Dave Lee: Our last resort was to stick him with the engineering team.
With his lack of speech and questionable creative vision
we thought he might fit in really well. It turns out he fits a little too well.
Heather Kinsey: Alright guys. We've got to figure out this complicated calculation,
so if either of you have any great ideas, brilliant ideas, throw them out there now.
Neil Rifkin: I mean the real problem here is we're tracing this ray,
reflecting off our concentrator and hitting our absorber but the absorber is in an imaginary space.
I don't know what to do.
Yosef: (Sound: banging on board)

Dave Lee: (Sound: clearing throat)
Well we can't really use him on the communications team if he isn't going to talk.
Chelsea Royall: I know and he keeps suggesting black and gold color schemes and that's just not what it wants to be.
Travis McKenzie: Well I guess we could use him for some heavy lifting out in the bay but there's got to be something better that he can work on.
Heather Kinsey: He'd be perfect on the engineering team except he keeps throwing out these crazy calculations that none of us can wrap our heads around.
Dave Lee: Alright, well I don't know then. I just
wish there was a way we can harness his energy, and passion, and use him to promote the project somehow.
Ed Pavia: Well why don't we just put him on every team?
