Ingredients required to make Cashew Green Gram Idli Curry
Green Gram, Cashews, Tomato, Green Chilli, Onions, Chilli Powder, Turmeric, Salt, Garam Masala, Curry Leaves & Oil
Let's see how it's made
Soak the green gram in water for two hours
Add salt for taste and grind the soaked green gram into a paste
Take an idli stand and fill it with the green gram paste to make idli cakes
Place the stand in the cooker and let it cook
Meanwhile, take a pan and heat some oil
Add some cashews and fry them
Take the fried cashews aside
Now, fry some chopped onions and green chillies
Add some curry leaves and chopped tomatoes
Add some red chilli powder and salt
Lastly, add the fried cashews
Add a little water and let it simmer
Now, crush the idli cakes into pieces after they cool down
Add them into the curry and let it cook for about 10 minutes
Add a little garam masala powder
Take it into a serving bowl
