Today we'll be visiting a fantastic vacation rental
at East 80th Street and Park Avenue
on the Upper East Side, Manhattan, New York.
Let's check it out.
This air-conditioned
1 bedroom vacation rental is located
on the ground floor of a townhouse.
It features hardwood floors,
high ceilings and a decorative fireplace.
As you enter, you'll find the kitchen to your right.
It is fully equipped with a gas stove, a refrigerator,
a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster,
a sink and even a dishwasher.
Of course, dishes, pots, pans
and utensils are provided.
Leaving the kitchen,
you'll find yourself in the living room.
It's furnished with armchairs, lamps, a couch,
a double sized sofa bed and a coffee table.
Facing the sofa,
there is a large wooden shelf
with a flat screen TV and cable.
There is also a door giving you access to the backyard.
WiFi is available throughout the apartment.
In the living room,
you'll also find a dining table with chairs
and a large walk-in closet
where you can hang clothes
and store your belongings.
Off the living area,
you will find the bathroom.
It has ceramic tiled walls
and is equipped with a shower and a bathtub.
There is also a window, a sink,
a mirror and a towel shelf on the wall.
Next to the bathroom,
you'll find the bedroom.
The bedroom has 2 windows facing the backyard
and is equipped with an air-conditioner.
The bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed,
a small bedside table with a lamp and a TV.
Pillows and sheets are provided.
Now let's check out the neighborhood.
The Upper East Side is a fantastic
neighborhood in Manhattan
where you'll find many nice restaurants,
bars, cafes, shops and galleries.
You'll also have convenient access
to public transportation.
If you love the arts,
there are many major New York City museums
located in this area
on what is known as Museum Mile.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art
is located 2 blocks away from the apartment
on Fifth Avenue.
The museum offers a variety of events and
programs for kids and adults,
so it's definitely worth a visit.
One of the most famous landmark museums
in New York City
is Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum,
also found on Fifth Avenue.
The museum contains many works of art
and also offers a youth and community program.
