Everyone knows that there is a rivalry between services.
But when you're training, those rivalries shouldn't matter.
In Hohenfels, Germany, soldiers and marines from the Joint Multinational Readiness Center
team up to evaluate Georgian soldiers and give them some insight
to what teamwork is all about. [Spc E. Valdez] These soldiers from the country
of Georgia are going through what would be the equivalent
of finals week before they head out to Afghanistan.
These guys are putting rivalries aside. They've got to get them ready for combat,
and to do that, they're taking them through training scenarios
to evaluate how they'll react in a combat environment.
We are both side by side observing the Georgians as they go through their training.
We compare notes. We both give feedback. Reporting from JMRC in Hohenfels, Germany,
I'm Specialist Elliot Valdez.
