Welcome to Bounce Learning Kids TV.
In this video, we will be explaining how to use some of the unique Visual Learning Resources
from BounceLearningKids.com. Today, we'll be talking about Literacy and
we'll be looking at the unique Bounce Learning Kids word group charts.
Altogether, there are 36 of these charts, which cover the most common word groups that
your child will encounter. So let's first take a look at what's on side
A. Each chart features one or more groups of
words that each have a similar sound & spelling. Simple graphics help invoke the sound that's
featured on the chart, so you child will have no doubt as to how to pronounce each of the
featured words. If we turn the chart over, and look at what's
on side B, we see the exact same groups of words, but this time presented in the context
of simple, age-appropriate sentences. Use side A for when your child or student
is first learning individual words and word sounds, and then just turn over to side B
for when they've gained a little more experience and are starting on sentences.
One of the benefits of these charts is that you really have two resources in one.
Across the 36 charts, a total of 67 individual words groups are featured.
And research shows that learning word groups helps children to recognize and analyze word
and spelling patterns. Spending just 15 minutes a day with your child
on reviewing these word groups will go a long way towards setting them up for success with
their schooling and beyond. Complementing these charts, Bounce Learning
Kids also has a complete set of writing practice work-sheets available for download via BounceLearningKids.com.
These practice work-sheets feature the exact same sentences that are found on side B of
the word group charts, and allow your child or student to practice writing the common
letters that form the featured word sounds. These and many other quality Visual Learning
Resources are available on our web-site. Give your child a head-start!
Order now! That's all for today.
