Here we have our equipment for the Load and Go method, or Hurtigfrigöring as we call it.
To get the victims fast out of the vehicle, so I will show you.
This chain we fasten in the back of the vehicle that has crashed
For example we can fasten it around the c-pillar here.
And this we fasten in a fire truck or something else that is firm, like a large tree for instance.
It is important to get this chain high on the vehicle so that it is dragged down, so that the vehicle is stable.
If you place it low on the vehicle and with a high anchor you can lift the vehicle up and it becomes unstable.
Here we have the chains for the front, they should be placed in the front of the crashed vehicle.
Then there are two chains that should be fastened.
One around the a-pillar, two laps around the a-pillar here.
And one chain around the steering wheel, break the window and wrap it around.
The chain around the steering wheel should be a little shorter than the one for the a-pillar.
So when we start to pull the steering wheel should be lifted up before we start to pull the vehicle apart.
If we need to we can fasten a chain around the a-pillar on the right side also.
But in normal situation we only need the one on the left side.
And then we have some straps to the vehicle that we use to pull the front of the vehicle with.
Previously we have used the vehicles to pull with, but our new truck has a winch which we now can use.
When we use the Load and Go method we also need to use the hydraulic tools.
So we cut the a-pillars on both sides here
So that we can release the roof that will prevent us from pulling the front out.
When we pull the vehicle apart we can almost carry the victim out like on a rocking chair *joke*
We have been using the method for about 5 years now I think, 5 or 6 years.
We use mostly only the hydraulic tools
Most crashes are of that kind that the hydraulic tools works best
It is the crashes where the front is very demolished and we can arrange two large vehicles around it.
So that we can pull it apart, it requires some space around the crash.
