Joe Koelzer: At the Clearing we use Spiritual Psychology as our
healing modality. The best way to explain spiritual
psychology is to look at a chair. Conventional psychology really is like a three-legged chair.
It starts with three levels of existence. The physical level, which is
what we do. The second leg is the mental level, which
is what we think and what we believe. The third leg is
the emotional level and that's what we feel. That's conventional
psychology.
You have this chair that's kind of wobbly and not
complete. Spiritual psychology adds the fourth leg. That
fourth leg to the chair is that spiritual level. At the
spiritual level is who we really are. Beyond what we do and think and
believe and feel is who we truly are. That's at that
spiritual level. The emotions that reside at the
spiritual level are things like unconditional loving, forgiveness, harmony, peace and joy.
Spiritual psychology is all about being able to heal the
issues that keep it us from living more of our life at
that spiritual level.
