Hello, this video will show you how to use the Cal State L.A. Schedule Planner.
Now let's take a look at the schedule planner.
First login to your GET account. Type in your User ID,
Then, type in your Password then click on Sign In.
Once you are logged into GET select "Self Service,"
then click on "Student Center."
Once you are on the Student Center page, click on the "Schedule Planner" link.
After reading the instructions begin by selecting on the green CLICK HERE icon.
You may need to disable the pop-up blocker of your internet browser, if so, click on
"Allow Once." Then repeat the previous steps,
and select the green "CLICK HERE" icon.
The Schedule Planner will open in another window and now it's time to choose your classes!
At the top of the page you can choose the Course Status of the classes to be displayed.
Choose the Course Status, then you can start to add the courses you want to take
this term. Click "Add Course,"
Select A Subject, Select A Course,
and click on "Add Course." Repeat this process until you have chosen
all your courses for the term.
If you'd like to narrow down the combinations, include breaks. Click on "Add Break" and add the days and times
you can't or don't want to take classes. Don't forget to name your break!
Once you are done click on "Generate Schedules" and you will see all the possible combinations
of courses.
All of the schedules that meet your search criteria will appear on the screen.
You can preview your schedule by: 1. Placing the mouse over the magnifying glass;
2. Choosing up to 4 schedules and click on the "Compare" button; or
Click on "View" to select the schedule of your choice. Click on "Send Schedule to
Shopping Cart." Continue following the instructions on the
screen and you will be able to register for these courses through GET.
Any additional changes needed -- add, drop, and swap must be done through GET.
