WOLF BLITZER: Former CBS news anchor Dan Rather is going
after his old network with a $70
million defamation lawsuit.
MALE SPEAKER: We now interrupt this program for
a Ridiculous Report.
BILL O'REILLY: [INAUDIBLE] for pinheads and patriots.
Tonight, you can make the call.
FEMALE SPEAKER: Collar up or collar down?
DAN RATHER: Definitely not.
MALE SPEAKER: Collar up?
DAN RATHER: Absolutely.
Nobody wears trenchcoat with the collar down.
Jeff would prefer to do it without the coat.
On the other hand, I would prefer not to
be the frozen anchorman.
Now, we need to make a decision.
Coat or no coat?
JOE SCARBOROUGH: These are the decisions that
go on in the newsroom.
JANE HALL: And you know what, he was very handsome and
somewhat vain.
MALE SPEAKER: I mean, his executive producer ought to be
Hugo Boss or Oleg Cassini.
WOLF BLITZER: Abbi Tatton is here.
She's watching the stories.
So Abbi, how did this all start?
ABBI TATTON: People have watched this online since it
was posted by comedian Harry Shearer on MyDamnChannel.com,
including, it seems, Katie Couric.
And now she's been caught on tape with her own version.
KATIE COURIC: OK, should I open my coat?
I wanted to be like Dan Rather on YouTube.
That look weird?
It's like a covered buttons?
How about like that?
JOE SCARBOROUGH: Jacket on
FEMALE SPEAKER: Yeah.
JOE SCARBOROUGH: Collar up?
FEMALE SPEAKER: Jacket?
MALE SPEAKER: Is my tie straight?
MALE SPEAKER: Looks pretty good.
MALE SPEAKER: Collar up?
BILL O'REILLY: This is hysterical.
MALE SPEAKER: From Seattle, that was Dan Rather fixing his
trenchcoat.
Courage.
