Hey guys! Today I'm gonna show you a good way how you can remove your mascara. And I'm
not
gonna give you like 'the best product in the world' to use or something, I will actually
show
you a whole new technique. I'm currently in a college to become a beauty thereapist and
that's
actually where I learnt this technique. We were tought to use it on clients before facials
and
stuff so I think this should be the most gentle method there is. Probably.
If you're like me and you like to use at least 10 coats of mascara, then you know what kind
of
pain it is to take it all off in the evening. And I usually end up looking like a panda
because
I have big black circles around my eyes. But not anymore!
The worst thing about removing your eye makeup the regular way (that most people uses) is
that
you have to rub your eyes. And if you have a lot of mascara, you have to rub your eyes
for
quite some time to get it all off. It's obviously not good for your eyes because they are
getting irritated, they can become sensitive. And it can even cause wrinkles if you do it
very
rough and very constantly. So I will show you how to do it more gentle, ok?
You don't need anything special for this, you just gotta have your cottonpads, makeup
remover,
of course (I'm using L'oreal waterproof 2 fase makeup remover) and some water.
What you're going to do - you first divide your cotton pad in half and then you're gonna
fold
it like this. Now take your water and I'm gonna spritz it on this cottonpad. If you're
taking
off your makeup in the bathroom, it's gonna be very convenient for you because you have
sink
there. But as I don't, I'm using this small bottle. And what we're gonna do with this
- we're
gonna place it underneath the eye here. Then take another cotton pad and just apply your
makeup
remover on it. Now let's place this cotton pad. You can get it to stay there but you
can hold
it, if you want to. Now with the other cotton pad, I'm gonna put it on my eye, let it sit
for a
few seconds. And cotton pad on your lower lashline is actually picking up everything
that would
transfer under your eyes and that's why you won't look like panda. Now just keep going.
The
difference is that you're actually touching only your lashes, you're not rubbing your
eyes. Ok,
you're touching them a little bit, but only a little bit. Oh and about that water (This
loooks
funny :P ) You can actually use makeup remover on your lower lashline if you want to, but
it's
not necessarily. And you can probably see that most of it has come off already. I'm
gonna take
another one, because this one is all black. I had a ton of mascara on, as usual. And usually
when I don't have a lot of makeup on my lower lashline, it's enough to clean from the top
but
this purple is really tricky and it doesn't want to come off.
That's basically all! You just stick a folded wet cotton pad on your lower lashline and
your makeup from the top. And remember to rub only your lashes and not all of your eyelid.
You
won't rub your lower lashline and you won't need to come in again to remove everything
that you
got here. That's it. I hope you found this video helpful. If you try this technique,
please let
me know how did it work for you and see you next time! Bye bye!
