Finding partners and opportunities.
Improving your network
and meeting interesting people and companies.
We participate primarily because we want to streamline our sales process.
We want to try to find as many qualified accounts
and customers as quickly as possible.
It's a challenge for us to spend a lot of time on customers who aren't right for us.
So qualifying customers more strictly and making a business contact immediately.
We see a great advantage in meeting new potential customers
and to strengthen our relationships with our existing customers.
Lernia have been involved multiple times
in both production and HR,
and they're aimed at very different target groups.
We've made the choice to be involved in both
we have a big part in production,
and we see it as a very effective way to meet a lot of interesting customers
and to create dialogue but also a customer base for the future.
It's an effective way to meet existing clients
and clients we'd like to have. And to gain knowledge.
It's a fantastic opportunity to meet decision makers in Swedish production.
Lots of meetings in one effective day.
#WHAT ARE YOUR OBJECTIVES WITH THE DAY?#
The main goal is to make new contacts
and to gain new perspectives.
There are some great seminars
and snapshots to gain something from. So that's the goal.
We have a very clear team goal. We want to start 15 new business dialogues.
We have 30 meetings
and we want to take 15 of them
to the next level of concrete discussions through future meetings.
The goals are to bring home leads to work on
and gain more business.
#HOW DID YOU PREPARE FOR THE DAY?#
We've gone through what we want to convey
but have also thought about what these companies are challenged with
so that we're ready to talk.
More importantly, we've tried to look at what questions
are being asked and what we have done with other companies
so that we can share. Networking isn't just about taking -
you have to give something back too,
so we try to contribute with cases
we've had with other companies.
We've spent a lot of time on preparation.
We research the people and companies we're going to meet,
and then we try to read up on the subjects
that are being discussed so that we can follow the debate.
Contributing with logical input and just making sure to keep up with the day.
We've based the meetings on routine
and polished our presentations
and more, but mostly routines.
We've prepared through looking at our meetings
and specifically at who they are and how they are.
And we did some more work for the ones
we were particularly interested in.
Maybe we've had meetings before
but the goal is to get to the next meeting and fill the agenda.
You can never ever not sell your company in 15 minutes.
You create curiosity and interest
for whoever you're talking to.
Preparation includes preparing yourself about the companies you're meeting.
You have to at least know what they do
and what they produce so that you can ask the right questions.
You don't have long with them.
#WHAT DO YOU TAKE WITH YOU FROM THE DAY?#
Many pleasant and productive meetings.
A lot of good discussions, partly when it comes to our one-on-ones
and also in the group discussions.
My view is that questions in production are not few,
but they're all about the same thing.
Becoming more effective is the goal,
but there are a lot of perspectives people,
machines, products, and what not. So it's interesting.
I'll take away very positive things.
We've filled our schedule with meetings
where we've met prospective customers or partners.
It feels like we've met with the right target group,
so my experiences were just positive.
The meetings are fast though, but you learn.
We were here last year and had a good time then too.
I don't really know, but I'll take away a number of opportunities for client meetings
Pretty much everyone I've met with for 15 minutes
has eventually led to an additional discussion
or a discussion to keep exploring questions.
It might be a small question,
but we feel that we can explore further together.
And we're striving to go to the next step
and develop our service
according to the questions we've been asked.
So every meeting has led to a follow up
and that's absolutely wonderful.
