In Terra Mystica we play one of 14 different fantasy races.
Auren, Witches,
Alchemists, Darklings,
Halflings, Cultists, Engineers, Dwarves, Mermaids, Swarmlings,
Chaos Magicians, Giants, Fakirs and Nomads.
The kicker is, each of the 14 races
can only exist on one type of landscape.
The nomads for example live on desert.
So what to do?
I dig the bed so long, till a wasteland becomes a desert. Terraforming so to speak.
And now I can build dwellings directly on the new desert fields.
Firstly, I want to have an area as big as possible.
Secondly, I would like to build as many powerful structures
and then I would like to ascend into four different cults.
14 races, all of which play really different.
With very adequate special abilities.
Terra Mystica, an insanely good strategy game, a highlight for hardcore gamers.
