Counselor is everything ready?
We found him in primary school Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj from Obrenovac.
Jugoslav is the king which loves his people, and the people truly love him.
Despite the fact that every step with the crutches is painful, hard and the fall dangerous,
this little guy has always a smile on his face.
That is why it is not surprising that he is always surrounded with friends.
He is good, always trying to help everyone in any situation, physical…in any way, he is fun and always smiling.
I am at his home almost every day to help him when he needs it, to be beside him, we practice together, learn together, play together.
He is really a child who knows how to get under your skin, always cheerful, in a good mood, smiling.
Situations when you can see him sad or little disappointed in life are very rare.
He misses school, says the teacher, only when he has to, when he breaks an arm or a leg.
This happened to him eight times until now.
However he says for himself that he is not sick and that the doctors might have misdiagnosed him with osteogenesis imperfect
First time I broke my arm in kindergarten, me and my friend were playing.
There was a small downhill, I tripped there on one stone, and hit with my elbow on the stone.
and ... I broke my elbow
How old were you then?
I had then... I think 4 years.
I am always wearing casts and that annoys me.
Single mother Zorka has lost her job because she takes special care of her son.
She brings him to the school, between classes she is helping him to cross form one cabinet to another and from one floor to another.
The doctors say that with therapy his bones would become stronger but before that further medical investigations needs to be done.
I need to bring him to an endocrinologist in Tirsova hospital so they can start with examinations.
So then they can decide on proper medical treatment.
But I can’t start with it because I am not in a good financial situation.
For years Zorka is unable to pay for the home bills and because of debt their electricity was cut off.
This family lives modestly from what Zorka earns by house cleaning.
They are having a hard time but they hide it very well.
Jugoslav was never seen crying by mother, friends or teacher.
For a long time Jugoslav struggled not to cry in front of us and hide the reality with the smile.
When we have asked him what he would like to become when he grows up, he wanted to be a footballer then tennis player and now...
Well I can’t be anything when I grow up.
You think that you won’t be better in a few years?
Well maybe it will.
What did the doctors say?
