So today I'm going to show you how
to lower the extremely loud volume of the beeper
in your Turnigy 9x class radio.
For this you going to need one phillips screwdriver and a piece of tape.
I'm black electrical tape for this one.
So assuming you removed all those six screws holding the back on
you can go ahead an ahead and open up your radio
disconnect the rear
and as you see I did not remove the batteries
from my transmitter and there's a reason for that
I, I wanna show you the the difference in loudness.
Because as most of you know these radios, the beeps...
the buzzer they have it's just really annoyingly loud.
So you gonna have to remove this PCB board by removing these three screws.
So you gonna have to remove this PCB board by removing these three screws.
The larger one, which is connected to your
neckstrap hook. I'm also using the
box of the transmitter whenever I have to take it apart.
Because eer, it saves your sticks, plus
serves as a great holder tray trade for your screws.
It has all those little indents in it, I find it really practical.
And you can just pick them out later on, with the tip of your screwdriver
if you've magnetized it.
So, here's the culprit,
the buzzer and this thing is really
loud. I'm going to show you just in a second.
Connect it up
Power on. Very loud.
Now, you put your finger on it, not so loud.
Now, the great thing is that you can you use a piece of tape
to just imitate
your finger on it.
So just take this little piece of tape, it doesn't need much just need to cover that
hole on top of the beeper
or buzzer.
So, power on.
Not so loud anymore!
Thats all to it. Put it back together and
it will no longer annoy the crap out of you. Thanks for watching!
