You’re invited to the Advanced Distributed Learning Initiative’s 11th annual ImplementationFest,
August 2nd through 4th in Orlando, Florida at the lovely Rosen Centre Hotel. ImplementationFest
is the premier event for the Department of Defense training community. Attended by more
than 300 learning, education and training professionals from government, industry and
academia, ImplementationFest provides a unique environment to learn about the latest research
and events shaping distributed learning. As always, ImplementationFest will be filled
with informative keynote, plenary and breakout sessions. ADL has lots of interesting information
and research to share this year on things like mobile learning, virtual worlds,
gaming and learning environments.
The Technical Team will be talking about the new Enabled Learning Environment
that they've been working on. We've been collaborating with our ISD Team on better
incorporating technologies to improve learning experiences. We'll be talking about enhancements
to our 3D repository and a prototype learning content repository that we're very
excited about. And we'll of course update everyone on what's happening with SCORM. There's
a lot going on, so we hope everyone comes to ImplementationFest this year so you can
get your questions answered and we can have a lot of great discussions with the community.
This year's event also includes a reception with the return of the ADL House Band for
Open Mic Night. To learn more about ImplementationFest and to stay on top of all the latest news
on the event, please visit www.ADLnet.gov. Join us August 2nd through the 4th In Orlando,
