Thousands of Queenslanders have joined the Drive to Save Lives. And here's what they're
saying about distraction:
- Don't do things like use your mobile phone while you're driving along. You just see so
much of it. - You're not looking at the road so you may
as well just be driving with your eyes closed. - There's so much more important things than
saying back, you know, to someone, yes I'll be there in five minutes, and then you don't
get there at all. - If you're not going to concentrate then
you shouldn't drive. - Just wait till you get there.
- Get off the phone. Pull over if you need to make a call. It's not worth it.
- Get your mind and eyes on the road. - One second of distraction can cause a great
deal of heartache for other people.
