Hi this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village in this video clip we'll be cutting out the
rest of our frame pieces as I start laying out my side I'm going to add just a little
bit more stability behind this piece so I'm going to put a cross member piece located
at the top and part way down my piece. So that when I place my backing piece on it's
just a little more stable, now those cross member brace pieces are going to be 4" wide
X 16" long, I'm going to need 4 of those and that's going to come out of the rest of my
oak board. First I cross cut my pieces to 16 then I use the joiner to clean up one edge,
then I rip each piece once to 4 1/32 after that I use the joiner again on the remaining
piece as you clean it up.
Once that's done I rip my last 2 pieces
and lastly I use the joiner again on all 4 of my pieces to take off that 1/32 and clean
up that edge,
and now my pieces are finished.
