I'm Haney Louka with the Winnipeg Free Press,
and, uh, I just went for a drive in the Porsche Boxster.
In terms of performance and handling,
that's what, for me, puts this car ahead of the class
because it--it does so much with the least horsepower
of the bunch, 265 horsepower.
Now some of the entries in this class
have 580, 620 horsepower,
and they don't quite put the whole package together as well.
♪
The interior of the car is actually an area
where Porsche has improved the most recently.
Uh, as recently as five or six years ago,
people would get into a car like this and this price range
and would be a little bit underwhelmed,
but Porsche has really stepped it up
and I think it's just a response
to what customers are looking for
in this class of vehicle.
♪
I think this car is-- is best suited to people
who really appreciate a car that handles well,
has good power, and is really at the front of its class
in terms of putting the whole package together.
♪
One of my favorite things about driving this car
are the sounds that it makes when you let the engine rev
and just the way it works
and the way it interacts with the driver are first rate
with the shift paddles
and it's just loads of fun to drive.
