Hi guys !
Finally, here's the makeup you guys requested a tutorial for from Instagram !
Let's all transform into Japanese Hime Gyaru Dolls together !
We'll start off with inserting our contacts to enlarge our iris' for our super enlarging
eye makeup
Then I'll be apply my base makeup as I do
I usually don't add base makeup to my makeup tutorials for the sake of time
but for this transformation video, I thought it would be good to add
Also, I must say that all of you think I have flawless skin..
Noooooooooway jose !!
It's all makeup and editing, my friends.
I'm going to set my foundation and concealer with a translucent powder
And go into my temples, cheekbones, jaw, and nose with a contour powder
Then with this bright pink blush,
I'll softly blend this over my cheeks as a base for the intense harajuku-style blush
to come
Concentrate the blush under the outer corners of your eyes and blend softly all around to
create a smooth transition,
including the outer corners and lower temples
The worst thing to do to harajuku-style blush is to make it blotchy
Yikes !
Highlight the bridge of my nose and cheekbones, making sure to blend well ~
We want our skin to look plump and healthy !
Moving onto the brows, I'll fill my brows in the Korean lower-back-and-upper-front-heavy,
blending up the tail and down the front of the brow,
giving our overall look a soft, and doll-like feel
Because my eyes are semi-monolidded, I'll be applying this double-eyelid tape for more
lid to work with
If you already have double eyelids,
you can still enlarge them using this method or by using eyelid glue
Daran ~~
To not disturb my eyelid sticker, I'm going to tap my eyeshadow primer instead of swiping
Then taking a matte brown eyeshadow,
I'll place this all over my crease and blend it well
Adding a shimmery champagne to the inner corners and inner third of the lids will also open
up the eyes and add sparkle to the look
To add dimension, I'll place the shadow we used first to the outer corner of the lower lash line
and a dark brown eyeshadow onto the outer corners
Going back in with the initial matte brown shadow,
I'll use this to blend everything softly and to slightly contour the sides of my nose as well
It's liner time !
Using a black gel liner, I'll draw an extended downward wing
We are going down but it is still a wing so we will still need it to slightly flare and
not be pointing at the floor
I'll be blending this slowly a third way in and thinly continuing the line towards the inner corners
Since our overall eyemakeup will extend and enlarge the size of our eyes,
we also want to subtly extend the inner corners as well
This will help our eyes still look proportionate and not too far apart
I'll also slightly bring the liner into the inner corners for congruency
Let's darken the lashes and apply our dolly falsies !
The more spikey the shape of them are, the more dolly they will make your eyes appear
I'll also apply my dolly lower lashes
Make sure you apply the lashes slightly beyond where your natural eye ends
to extend the shape of the eyes
It's good to keep in mind that lower lashes always look less awkward when you have them standing up
rather than laying flat on your lower lash line
Time for glitter ~
Apply a gold glitter liner to the inner corner of the lower lash line
and onto the ball of the lids
Also please excuse my rachet liner brush,,
I use this glitter liner every day
so it's getting harder and harder to get all the brush hairs into the tube
and they keep fraying more and more T0T
Okkk here I'm applying a thin layer of clear glue to my cheekbones
and lightly dabbing on my gold glitter ~
To add dimension to the glitter,
I'm also applying the gold glitter liner from earlier
With these sticker rhinestones, I'll apply three in a row for even more bling !
And on the other eye, I have a pearl sticker and a light purple rhinestone
Moving onto the lips, I'll use a matte creamy pink to act as a base to our gradient popsicle lips
Ironically, this shade is called Tokyo, how suiting !
With a matte red lipstick, I'll apply this to the insides of my lips and blend it out
to complete our popsicle lips
