So your little girl's no longer a little girl. She's now becoming a teenager and getting
prepared for the real life as a woman. Hi, I'm Hazely Lopez, director of Hazely Academy
of Refinement and Modeling, and today, I'm going to talk to you about teenage girls'
bedroom makeovers. Well, the first thing you want to keep in mind is that exactly that
-- she is no longer a little girl. No more butterflies, no more princess decorations.
Now, it's more of a makeup and trying to be a little bit more adult. The first thing you
want to do is sit down with her and help her think about...you can help her think about
a theme that you may want to choose for her room. It could be either a color or a theme
specifically of something that she likes. When thinking about colors, you could think
about yellow, purple, even pink if she likes it, or a combination of colors, if you want
to do it stripes or flowers, it's really going to depend about what she wants to do. After
all, she's getting to grow up and start making her own decisions. You also want to make sure
that you help her look for that special theme that identifies who she is. She wants...she
is starting in this age in which she wants to explore and she wants to make sure that
everybody knows what she thinks and her personality, so this could be a great way to do it --
in her room. You may want to think about putting some vanity so she can put her makeup, and
now she's going to start, you know, putting perfume and everything. So those are things
you may want to think about when you're setting her room and making the bed...the makeover.
I'm Hazely Lopez, director of Hazely Academy of Refinement and Modeling, and I wish you
all the luck and the best of blessings for you and your teenager.
