Hello! I'm talking a little more loudly because I have my
dishwasher going in the background, so hopefully you can hear me.
I just made my spectacular tea, which this is how I make iced tea.
I save up all of my tea bags that I've used once.
So I use it once in my tea cup, and then I dry it in my
drying rack, and once in a while I'll put a whole handful
of these maybe even more, in my teapot.
So in here I have some rooibos tea, which I have looseleaf
in some fabric pouches, and I have kookicha tea which is a
Japanese twig tea, and chai tea, and there may be a licorice tea
in there, but just one, and it turned out really awesome.
Sometimes I have green tea and chai tea which also turns out good.
So now I've let it cool down, and I've already poured some of it
for myself for my morning tea. So I'm going to pour it into my pitcher,
and it'll probably fill up to about there, and then I usually
fill it up with some more water, and then I taste it,
I've already put in a whole bunch of honey in there,
so I may add some sugar, which is easier to mix in with cold water
anyway, and um, then I'll have some ice tea. And, that may help me
get my caffeine in the mornings, so I don't have to brew tea,
I just have to pour some tea in a cup and go. So, that'll help me out.
Let me move away from this loudness here.
Maybe that's a little bit better, but now maybe you can't see me.
I'm about to go to Target, "Tarjay" and hopefully get some cute stuff-
like a bulletin board, and I'll look for some other stuff, for my classroom
and uh, what else was I going to get- oh I was going to get
plastic bins, which hopefully I can find some that are large,
rectangular and flat, to fit in posters, because I've been storing them
in this big cardboard box, and it's an eyesore, and it's
all mixed together, and it's been a pain in the butt, to find
what poster I need for a certain occasion, and then I also forget
that I have it until after I've taught it, sometimes,
so uh, the para I have -para also means aide- para educator,
and interpreter, they both - um, mostly the para-
sorted through all of my posters into categories, so I'm going to try
to find bins to fit them in- to organize them in.
And it's a nice cool day, you can kinda feel Fall coming on here.
Which is nice.
I just got done buying stuff at Target, and I went a little hog-wild.
But I think it will be good. I got:
Two really long, flat, rolly bins, for a lot of posters, they're a little narrow,
so I'll have to fold some over, but I think that will work a lot;
That's an IKEA trash bin that's been rolling around my car for a while,
I don't think I'm gonna need it at school, so nevermind about that.
Inside there is another bin, and tissues, bought in bulk, and
These are dry-erase, magnetic board, which are really awesome, I think
it's cool. I think it'll look really neat.
And I have a red one and a black one, and two corkboards, and they're
all the same size so I can arrange them so there's like a
red, cork, cork, black. I think that'll look nice.
And, I got markers to go with 'em, and um
That's all the exciting stuff to me that I got.
I wanted to film this because I wonder what kind of bush it is-
it is SO cute! I'm going focus in on one of the flowers. It also has berries.
It's like a party color.
It doesn't have a name anywhere, so I'm going to try to find out what it is.
So I ended up getting it, I thought "Ok, it is so cute,"
And it was sixteen bucks. And I also got-chick 'n' eggs? I think they're called?
Or, Chick 'n' chicks? Chick 'n' babies? Heh, uh my boyfriend likes those.
So. Those are gonna go in my little flower- um -whatever you call it.
Flower thing on my balcony. And so, for frivolous buys, it was these
two plants for about 20 bucks, I guess that's not too bad for frivolous buys.
Everything else has some sort of purpose, gorilla glue, and clamps,
for putting together these dry erase boards and corkboards in my classroom.
So it does serve kind of a purpose. Um.
I guess I have thing about, 'Things have to have a purpose!' and then,
I have to give myself permission to buy frivolous things. And then,
if it's not too many frivolous things, then I'm not being too gluttonous!
(laughs) So it's probably a good thing to be like this, I suppose,
So I won't be like a shopaholic or anything. Ok.
