The purpose of this tutorial is to introduce you to Journals in Blackboard.
A Journal is self-reflective tool for students, visible only to the individual student and the Instructor.
However, Journals can be made public by the Instructor, only allowing other enrolled users to simply read the entries.
Only instructors are able to Comment on any Journal Entries, whereas students can comment only on their own entries.
A Journal consists of:
Journal Entries where students can include text, images, links and attachments.
Comments, which are remarks or responses to a Journal Entry made by the Instructor, or by the student on their own entries.
