Hello everybody.
My name is Kim and I am Khang's mother.
I am Nen Tran.
Hi, my name is Lyn Tran.
I'm Paul. This is my son Luke.
Viet-Chan Wicky Kinh Tran,
the youngest brother.
I am Khang's father.
I am Khang's sister,
the oldest one of the family.
I live in Denver,
work for a small health care company
as a network admin.
The first time I met you--oh boy.
Are you sure you want me to tell a story about you?
You guys were young.
I think you were probably 14 or so.
I think I was 12 or 13.
You took me to my first concert.
It was good.
I think you guys harassed me a little bit,
but it was all good.
You were a good baby.
I really missed you when you
went to college and moved out.
He's smart,
and he's really active,
and he's really good about family.
Also he has very good ideas,
and we learn from each other.
I still learn many things from him, too.
We're so proud of you
because you were always a good student.
When you called me and told me that
you were getting married and asked me about it,
I felt really happy.
I was most proud--now you're gonna make me cry.
I was very proud of you...
I think...
Definitely when you finished college.
That was definitely a proud moment.
And of course now that you're doing
your work and your job,
and just how dedicated you are to your job.
I hope in the future you guys have a
good family with children and everything.
I'm so proud of you guys.
I think in the future she'll be a good wife.
Never leave arguments unfinished.
Don't ever just say "forget it" and walk away.
You always have to talk it out no matter how hard it's gonna be.
The one thing I hope you guys never do is argue.
Just get along. Together.
Just take one step back--it never hurts.
When people are angry, it always goes the wrong way.
Just take it easy
and share your love together.
We can tell you guys really love each other,
so I think no advice needed.
I think it'll come naturally to you guys,
and you'll have a good life together.
We're so sorry myself and my family
are not going to be there
to be a part of this wedding.
I'm sorry I can't come to Japan to
have the wedding with you guys.
I'm really sorry about
our absence in the wedding ceremony.
In the future I will have a chance
to come to see all of you guys.
But we hope we can meet
everybody in Japan on Atsuko's side--relatives.
Very soon. Whenever we have a chance.
I just want to say "Hi" to them.
"Warm greetings."
Can't wait to meet you guys.
I'm sorry I can't make it,
but i'll be out there soon.
We're going to take good care of her
as a daughter-in-law.
And we love her just like
our own daughter here.
Atsuko is in good hands here.
You don't have to worry about her a bit.
