Hello my name is Nichole Kellerman and I m here to tell you, the number one, the
number one most detrimental thing that you can do that sabotages all of your exercise
goals. So did I got your attention? Are you wondering what it is? Well the number one
thing, that absolutely you can do that sabotages yourself is thrive to perfection. Why? I don
t understand. I don t really get this. But we all myself is included with this guilty.
We ve always thrive for being perfect. My clients do it all the time. I want to be perfect
with my exercise. I want to be perfect with own nutrition. I only want to eat fruits,
vegetables and lean meat, and nothing else. I want to exercise 7 days a week. I work really
really hard. Look, we re not perfect and know that we will never. And we have to be okay
with these slip ups. I told this to my clients over and over and over again. It bears repeating.
You will slip. You will fall off the fitness wagon. You eat a cake you weren t supposed
to. It will happen. But you know what, you will going to be okay with that. All you gonna
do is ditch all up, roll up your sleeves, dust yourself off and keep going. So I want
to give you this one tip that I gave to my clients that really helps them shift their
perspective of this perfectionism mind set. So, say you re doing really good. Say for
example, you had a really really good week. You ve been eating on time, you ve been exercising
regularly. And then something happens like there s a piece of cake, and you weren t supposed
to. Right maybe it s at lunch. Maybe you re at work and somebody brings in and you have
this piece of cake. And then what usually happens, you get felt with this all immense
guilt. You feel you re like loser you suck. You should just give up. You should quit.
You re not being perfect. Just let it go. And then you let the rest of your day go.
Right? re like pulse crew and have a piece of cake, eat what I have for dinner. And I
want to have me 3 glasses of wine tonight. Right that one little side of you will really
comes out when something happens. What do you think of trying to save your day as supposed
to completely sabotaging it. So you have that piece of cake, and you know what? No big deal.
I m not perfect, I ll never will be. I m gonna have slip ups once in a while. You what I
m gonna do? I m going to eat it for dinner. I m gonna have some nice fresh beautiful salad
with maybe some protein. And I m going to go for a little bit more exercise tonight
and I m really going to save it. Yes. What a piece of cake? It s not going to destroy
all of my fitness goals because it s not. It s really really isn As much as you know
that little sabotaging voice that comes in your head that it will, it won t. You ll be
okay. So, there is my tip for you. Take it and run with it. So, next time, you get stucked
in this perfectionism mind set and have a little slip up. Just save it. And be okay
with the slip ups. They ll happen. And you know what? They ll continue to happen. You
will never ever ever be perfect. And either am I even as a personal trainer. I save myself
on supposed that I don t mind myself about it. Just be okay and let myself keep going.
It doesn t really matter. So I hope that you like this video. If you have any questions,
