The Wii controller. Hi I'm Rokosz your digital lifestyle expert. I'm going to show you a
little bit about how to operate this magic box here, the Wii controller. Well the first
thing you're going to notice it's very similar to other controllers that have been popular
for Nintendo, like this. Actually if you turn it this way it kind of looks similar, but
it doesn't have as many buttons. One of the reasons is is because the receiver inside
of here it can tell which direction it is and how it's moving. So you can physically
move your hand as opposed to actually moving a button. But here on the remote you're going
to see your directional controller over here, your A button which is your main button when
you decide to hold it like this. Your B button or the trigger is on the back, here in the
center you have your home button, your plus your minus button or your minus and your plus
button. And then your one and two. But primarily most of the functions are handled by the trigger,
the A button and your multi-controller. Now in order to use the Wii properly one of the
first things you do need to do, and you're going to want to forget doing it until you've
ruined something. Is put the strap on. Some of the first generation ones didn't have the
strap, and when you're playing games like boxing or baseball, it's really easy to throw
the controller around. And many of these, many of these have gone through the wide screen
televisions, and some found the need to litigate about that. But all you have to do is put
your strap on. And also covers with, it also comes with the newer ones now this silicone
rubber protector, it's built up at the front so if it does drop it's not going to break
the unit. So it comes with a little protector, do go ahead and put this on. Now to talk about
the Wii controller you've got to remember it's buddy the nunchuk. To assemble this is
pretty easy, and again you want to have safety in mind. If you can is to take your wrist
strap off here, the Wii controller there's only one way that it likes to go into the
nunchuk rather into it. It's keyed at the top and keyed at the bottom, clicks into place,
and then on here on the back just before you click it you can put your you can clip the
string on your strap right around here and you're in. Now the nunchuk is secured through
the strap, you put the strap through your hand, and now you have control over both units.
A lot of fun. Now to make it happen here a lot of times you just point it on the screen.
Boxing, one player, and all you do is click on the A button, that's me, my me Wii, and
push through it. So basically it's point and click, use it as a trigger and have some fun.
I'm Rokosz your digital lifestyle expert saying Wii you later.
