I was not afraid.
Ewa: You was'nt?
Ewa: You were 21 years old when you were there.
Ewa: So he was at your age. (Said to Angelica).
Angelica: Oh my god..
Ewa: Yeah, that makes you look at it trought another perspective.
Ewa: But then again, you wasn't alone. You were a lot of people and there was someone telling you what you should do.
Bengt: Yes, there was someone who was in command.
Ewa: And you had to listen to him, for good and for bad.
Ewa: You didn't get abondoned.
Bengt: No, but later on we got our people.. I had my group talking all the time.
Ewa: yeah, "Do as I say or otherwise.."
Ewa: But were you ever positioned where it was really close to the actual war zone? In that way that they shot and ravaged just around the corner.
Bengt: Sometimes it happend that it exploded both here and there. (Also gunfire)
Bengt: But the korean people were very efficient.
Bengt: They didn't have all that help that we had from the US.
Angelica: Were you ever close to the border of North Korea?
Bengt: What?
Angelica: Were you ever close to the border of North Korea?
Bengt: Yes, we were.
Angelica: Did you need to use your gun?
Bengt: yes, I did..
Bengt: Yes, it is scary, but..
Ewa: It was them or you.
Bengt: Yes, you have to protect yourself.
Ewa: The tough thing is that that was what they did too. Protect themselfs.
(Bengt didn't hear what Ewa said and she's repeating what she said and is adding "but they lost".)
Bengt: Sure.
Ewa: I would then think that it was even worse when you recieved the wounded, the civilians for example.
Bengt: I was not involved so much with the civilians.
Ewa: You didn't?
Angelica: What did you do then?
Bengt: Well, I hade to take care of wounded soldiers. Bandadge them and keep them going.
Bengt: We did our best.
