Video #4: AdWords Campaign Experiments: Applying or deleting your experimental changes (Step
4)
In this video, we're going to discuss step four - Deciding whether or not you'd like
to apply your experimental changes
When your experiment ends, and you've had a chance to examine your data, you can choose
to apply or discard your experimental changes. Deciding whether or not to apply your experimental
changes depends on which metrics you were interested in and what differences are meaningful
to you. For example, you may be focused on average CPC and after running your experiment
for 2 weeks, you notice a 1% change in average CPC is statistically significant. However,
you may not care about that if you only consider a change of 10% or more to be meaningful to
your business.
If you choose to apply your experimental changes, this means that these changes will run all
of the time rather than just the percentage you chose. To apply your experiment settings
to your campaign: 1. Click the Settings tab in your campaign.
2. Under "Advanced settings", select Experiment. 3. Click the Launch: Apply changes fully button.
To remove the experimental changes, click the Delete: Remove changes button
Note: After you apply or discard your experimental changes, you won't be able to see your experimental
changes in your campaign.
