Today we're here to show you some BMX tricks. This one is the funny but important one hander.
Boy is that one going to come back to haunt me. That's the one handed jump. Now, the elements
to the one handed jump are keep your bike level; make sure the pressure's applied evenly
between this hand and your feet, cause' when this hand comes off, the bike's going to tilt.
You got to make sure that you keep that very steady; light grip. Take the hand off, put
it back on; you know, its simple science. Do it on the ground a couple times before
you approach the jump to do it. Here's the breakdown to the one hander. Approach the
jump with a little bit of speed, level out, one hander. Another important part to the
one hander is to keep your eyes on the landing, but also in the foreground, your eyes on the
bars. You don't want to stare at the bars, cause you got to pay attention to the landing.
Once you've made it to the point where your hands off, you want to get that hand back
on, cause' obviously, if you don't get it back on it's not going to be a successful
jump. Now the one hander is very goofy. It's usually brought out when people are messing
around; hey guys, so I wouldn't do it on a very serious basis; at a contest or something,
if you made it to that level, but definitely a good feel good trick.
