Hullo! If you feel like looking like a vampire for no particular reason, or maybe you have
a reason, maybe it's Halloween, maybe it's a costume party, maybe you just like vampires?
Here is an idea for you perhaps. Sometimes my fiancé and I pretend to be vampires and
go to gigs and parties and things and it's not weird. It's not weird. Not weird. Not
weird. Not weird at all. Really. We're actually going to be vampires in a vampire movie that's
coming out soon! Keep an eye out! Here's something like the makeup I do whenever I feel like
being a bit of a vampire. And um, also people have requested a tutorial of the makeup I
had on in my last video. This is kinda similar. Time to turn back time a few minutes, and
start off by looking truly terrifying! Bye! *hiss*
Now I thought I might start with the lips for no reason other than I feel like it. I've
already got foundation on as you can see. And blusher. Oh, and primer. My foundation
is the one I always use, which is Illamasqua pure white foundation, rich...blah. And a
Cover Girl pink coloured one. I mix them together. And Laval white powder. Just wear your usual
foundation but... I'd recommend... cause you know, vampires should look dead and cadaverous,
I think vampires should strive to look dead rather than too sexy. So maybe try going 2-3
shades lighter than your skin colour? I think a greyish colour, a cadaverous, deathly grey
for your blusher and contouring. I've just used an eyeshadow. I'm going to start by outlining
my lips in white pencil like I always do. Just to create a bit of shape, I'm going to
put a bit of black pencil on the outside corners of my lips. For a bit of... shady... liftyness.
For this look, because the focus is going to be on the eyes, I'm not going to use that
much lipstick. Take my red lipstick here. Revlon... Colourburst in "crimson". And dab
it on. All over. I hope this camera isn't making it look too pink. Then I'm going to
stick more red on the insides of my lips. So keeping the darker red on the inside edges,
and in the iddle too. First thing for my eyes, I'm going to use ah.... Revlon Luxurious Colour
in "polished bronze" eyeshadow. As you can see there's hardly any left. That's cause
I like it so much and have used heaps. Just using the plain little spongey applicatey
thingie... kinda like an underneath layer. So put it all over the top lid and underneath
quite far as well. If it makes you look a bit tired like an under-eye shadow, that's
good! It's good because you know... you're dead. Just like that! I'll do the black next
because I want the red to really stand out. This time around I'm using Maybelline "smoky
black". A very pigmenty, dark, black eyeshadow. You can use any black eyeshadow, I just happen
to like this one. And um, I'm going to go about halfway underneath... halfway across
underneath each eye. And um, cover the whole top eyelid. And blend. And blend with a fingertip.
Blend it outwards, go beyond your eyelids with a fingertip or smudgey stick. Blend it
into the brown that was there earlier. I appreciate that I look pretty weird at the moment. Deal
with it, I have to! It doesn't matter if it looks a bit messy, 'cause it's vampire makeup.
I'm going to stop look weird at you now, and draw my eyebrows on. Unfortunately I'm going
to use this Rimmel gel eyeliner. Which I hate, I utterly, utterly hate. But it's all I've
got. The stuff I usually use, I ran out, and it's been discontinued. I don't know what
to do anymore! Let me just do that quickly. 'Scuse me. If you want this eyebrow look and
you still have your own eyebrows, there's a thing where you can flatten them down with
a gluestick, and put foundation and that over the top. But I've not really had much experience
with that, so I recommend you go off elsewhere and find out how to do that. I've done it
once, I'm not an expert. Soz. I'd say you know... comb your eyebrows, try and make them
as straight as possible. What I'm using for the red, is this Makeup Forever pigment powder.
It is fantastically bright! My goodness. I'm not sure you can get this anymore? But I must
say, a little goes a long way. If you can get it. I bought this a million years ago
and it's still going. If you can't get that, I think Napoleon Perdis used to do a red eyeshadow,
I had one it was good... but, you might have to to a bit of hunting around for an equally
good red pigment powder or eyeshadow. And you wanna be sure you're getting one that
isn't going to look pink or orange. Which is likely. It's quite hard to find a truly
red eyeshadow. So do some Googling around. I will as well! Pigment powder... see it there....
is notoriously good at falling all over your face. I'm going to put it on with this...
thing. And very, very carefully try not to get it all ver my face. I'm packing it on
pretty thickly so the colour comes up a nice, bright red. I'm going to put in on the inside
corners, underneath. Dipping it in very lightly....
I recommend if you use pigment powder for anything, tilt your head way forward. So it
won't fall on your cheeks. Like that, and blend it in gently, again it doesn't matter
if it looks messy. There! It's pretty thick. I'm going to go over the black eyeshadow as
well, just to make it more... I dunno, obvious. Now because pigment powder's inclination to
fall all over your face, I'm going to spray my eyes with this Mehron Barrier Spray. Which
helps makeup stay in place and waterproofs it. It's not very pleasant, but it works.
Now for this look, I'm going to keep the inside corners "open" so I'm going to do a wee triangle
shape in the corner, but not closed.... urgh, let me show you. I'm really bad at explaining
things! Here we are... Very carefully outline the inside corners of the eye as well. As
I explained in another video, the reason I hate this eyeliner is because it's so freaking
smudgey! So I'm packing some black eyeshadow on top to keep it in place. Oh what the heck,
I'll do a wee beauty spot while I'm at it. Oh, I've made such a mess with the pigment
powder... it's really great stuff but it goes everywhere! Going to put on some mascara now.
Next I'm going to put on false eyelashes. Which is unfortunately something I'm not very
good at, but I'm going to do it anyway. I don't really believe in spending a lot of
money on false eyelashes. The price can range between like $20 and like, $1. So I mean,
I got this one here, 5 pairs for $2. Peel one off the doodad. I probably do this the
wrong way, but I don't care, it's just the way I've always done it. Put some glue along
the edge... and glue it on. I like to stick them on slightly farther out. I think that
looks cool. Dunno if you can even notice on this terrible webcam. Can you even see? Argh,
whatever. We know it's there! It always looks really cool to stick some on the bottom. There
we go. There! It is at this point you are going to want to go wash your hands because
they're no doubt covered in pigment powder, eyeshadow, and glue. And urgh. Brb! I'm not
sure how well this redness is showing up due to this camera, but you have to take my word
for it, it's really, really red! Lastly but not leastly, what would a vampire be without
their fangs!? I have here my little black case... a pair of standard sized Scarecrow
vampire fangs. I actually, genuinely believe that these are the best vampire fangs you
can get. In the world. Ever. Anywhere. Or at least that i've seen, or that are easily
available. And inexpensive. You can get the from Vamfangs.com. You mould them to fit your
own teeth, and they can snap on and off. So I've got mine all done, and these and my third
pair of them, I've been buying them for many years. I'm a bit of a fan. That;s what one
looks like by itself. And while they do just snap on and off, if you're going out for a
long night, or you just want them to stay in better, I use Polident which is basically
just a goo that's sued for holding dentures in. So it's perfect for holding vampire fangs
in! You can get it from the pharmacy. If not Polident, then something similar. So... we
only need a teeny weeny bit. Because it goos out everywhere. Stick a bit on the front...
stick that bad boy on. *hiss* And voila! *hiss* Instant sexy vampire lisp. *hiss* Ooo! I need
some accessories! Better magic some up. Ah! Gosh, I can't believe I forgot to wear jewellery.
So yeah, if you fancy going out for the evening and pretending to be a vampire, like we do
for no particular reason, which is absolutely not weird at all, then I hope you've found
this to your... use-ness. I hope you've found this useful! I've got an idea for a different
kind of vampire makeup, so wait and see! Thank you very much for watching, and just before
my upstairs neighbour starts making too much noise, I'm gonna say see you next time! And
good luck with your vampire look. *hiss*
