Hey guys, Tim Schmoyer here from VideoCreatorsTV. And I'll give and give
you guys a little update on a story that's happening right now in the
online video world. It's been going on for a little while but we
haven't talked about it before. And this is the story that
Microsoft is complaining against Google for not offering them
their own original YouTube app for Windows mobile devices. In
fact, not only do they say, "Hey you're not even making us one,
but you're making it impossible for us to even make one that kind
of is the likes of IOS or the Android YouTube app." Now, there's
a lot of reasons why Google's probably doing this, but Microsoft
isn't happy about it either way. Here's one story on TechCrunch
talking about it and if you'd like to learn more about it,
I'll put the link below and the description and you can go check
it out. But basically the reason I'm bringing this up and why I
want to discuss with you guys is do you think that you would like
it if the people who subscribe to your channel, your viewers, would
you want them to have a native YouTube app for Windows mobile or not?
Google's argument is that, "Hey, you have a fully functional
mobile website, just go to YouTube.com on your phone, you can
bookmark it to your home screen and wala, you've got an app."
The website is pretty decent and you can do a lot on it and it is
pretty functional, but what do you guys think? Comment below, I
would love to hear do you want your viewers on Windows mobile
phones to have a native app or you kind of cool with them just
using the website or maybe you don't have a preference one way or
another, just think, eh, let them figure it out. So, comment
below, love to hear from you guys, be sure you subscribe for all
the other stuff we've been talking with you guys about as far as
online video news and stuff that you should know about as online
video creators and how to make that stuff just be awesome. So
subscribe and I will see you guys for another video sometime soon.
Bye.
