Today I'm going to be showing you how to put a video or animated video on a TV screen in
Lumion3D. FIrst, I've checked everywhere online and I don't know if I'm not using google search
right, but I can't seem to find a tutorial on it. I had to just mess around until I figured
it out. I couldn't even find a forum that talked about it, and I looked all over Lumion's
site and it just wasn't there. So what you do, it's pretty simple. It's just not really
intuitive. What you do is you go to your import tab and your going to go to your edit materials
button, and then you're going to select, (you need to make sure that your TV material you
currently have is it's own material. The screen without the edges that is. Otherwise it's
not going to work properly. What you want to do is just click on this material button
right here. You come into here that shows your properties and placement. What you want
to do is go into "textures" and under texture you'll select "change diffuse texture". Go
to your video file. For instance, my video is a clip from Lord of the Rings. Select "open".
There you go. It puts that video in as the texture. That's how you do it. Just hit the
OK check mark. You're good to go. Simple. Basic. That's it. Please subscribe and like
the video for others.
