hello this is chuck from fisherrelief.com
today's video is uh... about fissure relief using fibre for your fissure
relief
Why Fibre?
fiber softens and help pass the stool so there's less pain on your fissure
It gives it time to heal.
of course added benefits of improved bowel health
and fiber has vitamins and minerals like if you take apples and
oranges and
wheat there;s also lots of vitamins and minerals in there as well
I use fibre and it really helps. I also have digestive tract issues and fiber also
helps reduce my diarrhea.
What food has fiber? It's always best to get your fibre from natural foods like
fruits vegetables oats bran barley legumes wheat bran and whole grains
but supplements are recommended since most of us don't eat properly anyways
especially those of us that suffer from fissures we definitely need the
fiber
check with your local government to guide but twenty five grams to forty grams of
fiber as generally recommended depending on your age
and whether you're male or female
make sure you drink lots of water when taking your supplement
What kind of fire is there? Well there's the powder form from brands like metamucil
that you mix with water. I use this method now as it is the least
expensive.
I used to use the fiber capsules
that you take with water. I use these when i was traveling a lot is it's easier to
take.
I've used fiber pills before in addition to mucilages like oats and
wheat they may have fruit fibre in them they're a little more expensive but i
have used them before too. There's fiber bars they can be pretty expensive and might
not have enough fiber in them
uh... there's also some cereals that have high fiber content but just make sure
they have enough i bring them for for your needs
how to take fiber supplements
first and foremost i'm not a doctor
uh... i've just had two fissures before and had the surgery and had all the
medications so I'm just out there to help people but always talked your doctor
before taking any fibre supplements it's really important.
I follow the package instructions for daily fiber intake on the bottle
that i use. I take it three times per day with meals and lots of water of
course
I took two times per day just to get used to it as it can be pretty
strong so right now I'm up to three times per day but go at it easy.
make sure to drink a ton of water with any fibre supplements. I'm repeating it again as
it's really really important. I usually use between two to three times as much
water as they recommend just makes it
that much more comfortable.
I've had two fissures now and I've had surgery so if I can help anyone else out there
suffering from the pain let me know please make any comments below
ask any questions too.
