Hi, my name is Johnny. I'm going to interview Erlend Elias.
Erlend Elias Bragstad is a make-up artist and spokesperson for Oriflame Norge (a business).
NuorajTV interviewed him at the Hamarøy Hotel in connection with a course held by Oriflame.
He is currently involved in a series called "Erlend Elias vs. Roskilde" (a festival) on dbtv.
Hello, Erlend.
We're now in Hamarøy, and you are not so far from home. Where are you from?
Do you ever miss your hometown?
Of course, I have lived in Oslo in almost 11 years.
Do you think that people from Nordland are less interested in fashion than people from eastern Norway?
Of course, people in the cities are more interested in fashion.
I don't know if I would pick out people from Nordland, but especially people from small towns.
What do you think about what I'm wearing?
It looks a little worn out.
When you are young and cute, you don't really need to hide under horrible clothes.
Is there something I can do?
If you look at your pants, they are much too big.
There is not point in having clothes like that when you are at your best age. You have to highlight your natural beauty.
Am I not doing that?
Maybe if you had clothes that were tighter, so that people could see if you had muscles or a nice butt.
What do you think about my hair?
I actually have a can of Define Men.
Don't ruin yourself.
I've noticed that a lot of people use a lot of wax in small towns.
Is that good or bad?
Do you have any tips about how one can freshen up a traditional Saami outfit?
The pants are often way too wide. I think they should be tight.
Maybe leather pants?
Maybe tight leather pants in a burnt cognac color.
I'm 30 years old now, and when I was growing up it was not acceptable to be Saami. If you admitted it, they yelled "those F-ing Lapps".
We did not talk about it before I was a teen. And, when I started in High School, I registered in the Saami Parliament voting register.
Because I think it is very sad that I come from Tysfjord and I can't speak Saami.
You'll never again put on make-up or shower in the public shower at Roskilde?
Is death an alternative?
So, I want to thank Erlend Elias...
...for letting us interview him.
Thanks and so long!
