It was a bit breezy today but cold conditions seem to have subsided. Let's head straight
over to our Lee Jee-hyun at the weather center. Jee-hyun, I remember you told us that the
southern parts of the country will be able to enjoy spring flowers in full bloom this
weekend
You are right on that So traffic on the country's major highways is forecast to be quite congested
this weekend. You will spend about an extra one hour on the road when heading to other
cities
Then how about the weather? Will it be optimal to enjoy these long awaited and blooming -so
to speak- outings?
Well, depends on where you are traveling to. Temperatures will ease starting tomorrow afternoon.
Sunday should be milder and sunnier topping out at 15 degrees Celsius in the capital under
a good amount of sunshine through the weekend but
if you plan to travel to the eastern and southern regions including Daegu and Busan you will
have a mix of clouds and light rain tomorrow while Sunday should be a bright one.
Moving on to tomorrow's temperature readings...cold morning to start out
Seoul starts off at 1 degree Celsius, minus 1 in Daejeon while Busan and Jeju Island kick
off at 5.
Milder daily highs in the western regions but cooler in the east due to mix of clouds
and rain, Seoul and Gwangju will climb up to 13, while
Daejeon and Jeju will get up to 12 ... and Busan will see a high of 10.
With April just around the corner, things will only get warmer by next week with pleasant
spring conditions in store
That's all for Korea and here's a look at the weather conditions around the world.
