You celebrate huge successes, how did it all begin?
After having produced a while, I, I started leaking all my stuff in blogs,
and tried to get my music out there anyway I could,
and that is how I met my manager when I met him,
he started help me out getting remixes for big names
really started getting my name out there in the scene and then
it just kinda of grew and and and we decided to start the cooperation
properly and I signed a management deal with them
and since them everything is just kinda skyrocketed and is kinda being like my second half and
you know I've being, I've being dealing with the musical
aspects of everything and he is being dealing with everything about
my career so it's really being one of the like best
cooperations you know that I could think of, because there
is no one I trust better than him. How did you come to the the name AVICII?
I tried everyting else and everything was taken and then
can I avici that's kinda cool a ha, because it means like the lowest level of budist hell
and and I fugured yeah! let's do that, so then, that was taken too, ja ja, and then
I decided to add another i to the end of it and then it actually worked out, because it
kinda gave... it looked cool, it looked kinda weird, and kinda off, but in a cool way, I think.
What kind of feeling is to have millions of fans?
I, I mean it's, it's obvious flattering, it's
obviously, it's it's flattering when you know, when people say they're fan or they really
like my music, so yeah! you know, I'd say of course it's flattering. My parents like
my music, and they try to come to as many shows as possible.
Have you think about what will you do after your music ends?
At the moment, there isn't a plan B, but, I would probably be studying for something
right now and I don't have no idea what I would be studying for ehh probably economics
or something like general, generic, you know, that I could keep my mind open stuff so.
Do you still have goals? I mean I'd say I've already pretty much fulfill
my dreams and it sounds weird but I mean the minute...specially professionally, you know
I.. I the minute I was able to, you know, support myself, traveling and DJ'ing and and
and doing what I love, that's why I felt like okay this..like I'm happy, so that, like as
long as I'm able to enjoy what I am doing still and make money, you know, that's, that's
my dream
