Welcome to another edition of Vegan Recipe Review.
Today, we'll be cooking and reviewing It Doesn't Taste Like Chicken's Chickpea Salad Sandwich!
Not a whole lot of ingredients necessary for this.
So we got the Garbanzo beans, celery, red onion, cappers, salt, pepper, veganese, dijon
mustard, and of course, Dave's Killer Bread.
This is a very simple recipe.
So we're gonna start off by cutting the celery and the onions, and we are gonna put them
in our pseudo food processor, the Ninja.
Ok, so, we pretty much finished with everything.
I went a little crazy with the Ninja.
I should have just pulsed it a couple times, so it's kinda a little wet.
You know, like, squishy.
But it's alright.
It's still gonna have the same flavor.
Just the consistency is gonna be a little weird.
So now for the main event.
We're gonna taste this and tell you guys what we think.
Thumbs up or Thumbs down.
Aurora for whatever reason is being camera shy today.
She doesn't want to be on camera, whatever.
She is feeling like her Mom today.
So I'm gonna go ahead and start her off.
As I said, I went a little crazy with using the ninja.
I should have just pulsed it a couple of times like the instructions said, instead this is
more like gazpacho.
Other than the consistency, it tastes pretty good.
I would say it's a good substitute for like, uh, like a tuna fish sandwich type of deal.
But, uh, let me go and give it to Sarah and have her give it a shot.
Ok Sarah, what do you think?
Thumbs up, Thumbs down?
I'm gonna give it a Thumbs Up for me.
Thumbs up for Sarah too.
Again, I screwed up, I take full accountability.
I didn't pulse, I went crazy blending it.
Aurora, you want to take a bite?
Let us know what you think?
C'mon, take a bite.
Just take a quick bite and let me know what you think.
Thumbs up Thumbs down.
C'mon.
Our audience wants to know what Aurora thinks.
Will you please take a bite?
Take a bite.
You like onion.
Alright, well we are not gonna get a review from the little one today on this particular
recipe.
But, to recap, Thumbs up for me and Sarah.
Highly recommend you don't go crazy like I did using a blender.
A couple quick pulses and that's it.
Because you want it to have a thicker consistency, not squishy.
Anyway, that's our episode.
Thanks for watching!
